Louvre in depth in 3 hours
Join me for an extended tour of the Louvre Museum, with the highlights and a journey through the Egyptian or Oriental Antiques departments of the museum.

The Louvre Museum is an unmissable landmark of the French capital. Located on the right bank of the Seine, in the heart of Paris, it is one of the largest museums in the world, with nearly 35,000 works on display.
Join me for a fun Louvre private guided tour where you will discover a selection from the museum's exceptional art collection that has made its reputation.
You will see the Louvre's must-see masterpieces, remarkable sculptures from Ancient Greece, treasures from Ancient Egypt and the Ancient Near East, as well as characteristic and essential paintings from the Italian Renaissance, Neoclassicism, and French Romanticism.
We'll begin our journey in the Egyptian Antiquities department, one of the richest collections outside Cairo, where we'll encounter monumental statues, sarcophagi, and everyday objects that reveal how the Ancient Egyptians lived, worshipped, and prepared for the afterlife — including the famous Seated Scribe and the Great Sphinx of Tanis.
From there, we'll move into the Near Eastern Antiquities galleries, tracing the birth of civilization in Mesopotamia and Persia — home to the Code of Hammurabi, one of the oldest deciphered writing systems in the world, and monumental winged bull sculptures that once guarded ancient palaces.
Together we will then come face to face with sculptures such as the Venus de Milo or the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and I will tell you all about the world famous Mona Lisa by Da Vinci, The Wedding at Cana by Veronese, The Coronation of Napoleon by David, Liberty Leading the People by Delacroix… and tell you what made them renowned.
